As part of our Great Coastal Birdwatch, join us for our annual friendly rivalry at the 3rd Great Kentish Bird Off as we try to see more species in one day than our colleagues at Bird Wise East Kent.
We will be at KWT Oare Marshes reserve from 10am to 4pm so you can pop along whenever you like or join us for a guided walk around the reserve at 11am.
The paths around the reserve can be a little muddy if it has been raining but the walk is fairly flat and easy with good viewing from the main access road and is suitable for all abilities.
If you would like to join our guided walk please book a place using our Eventbrite page here ,but if you would like to just join us and help spot as many birds as possible you don’t need to book.
The event is suitable for beginners and all ages. Well behaved dogs are welcome but they must be kept on a lead on the reserve.
It is free to join in our event or attend our walk but you will need to pay for parking at the reserve using the RingGo app or via telephone. There are no toilets on the reserve with the nearest ones being in the pubs and cafe in the village or the nearby Sainsburys store.
