Summer Guided Walk – Oare Marshes

Join our Rangers for a guided walk around the beautiful KWT Oare Marshes Nature Reserve on Friday 25 August.

For this walk we will be meeting at the car park at KWT Oare Marshes nature reserve ready to start the walk at 11.00am.  We will walk the circular walk around the reserve checking out the birds and other wildlife using the estuary and the trees and bushes inland on the way.  The duration of the walk is approximately 2 hours with plenty of time to stop and observe any wildlife we spot.  The walk is flat and on structured paths but can be muddy if it has been raining.

Walks are suitable for all the family and are particularly suited to birdwatching beginners.  Well behaved dogs are also welcome to come along but they must be kept on a lead at all times.  If you have binoculars please bring them along but don’t worry if not as we’ll have our scope for you to look through.

It is free to attend our walks but places are limited so please use the registration button to book your free place.  We ask for your contact details when you book so we can let you know if anything changes on the day.  Walks will go ahead if it is raining but may be cancelled if amber weather warnings are issued.  Please note there are no toilet facilities at the reserve, parking in the car park is charged at £2.50 for the day via the RingGo app.
