Ranger Walk – Hoo St Werburgh
Come and join the Bird Wise Rangers for a walk and learn more about the incredible birds that depend on our coastline over the winter.
Walks will be at a gentle pace with plenty of time to stop and look at the birds we spot. We normally stop behind at the end of the walk for a chat and to answer any questions so bring a flask of tea or coffee and we’ll supply the biscuits.
We are meeting at the junction of Vicarage Lane and Marine Drive and walking out towards the Saxon Shore Way. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
Places are strictly limited so booking is essential. Send an email to birdwise@medway.gov.uk or telephone 01634 331153 to book your place, indicating which walk you are looking to attend.
We are a hardy bunch so the rain won’t stop us going out, but if severe weather is forecast we may need to postpone the walk, in the event of cancellation we will call or email everyone who has booked the day before the walk is scheduled.
