Marvellous May Guided Birdwatching Walk
Join us this May half term for a gentle walk around Cliffe Pools RSPB Reserve with time to stop and observe the birds we spot and hear along the way. These walks are suitable for beginners and experienced birders alike. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbance.
Meeting place – Cliffe Pools RSPB Reserve, Salt Lane, Rochester, Kent ME3 7SU – Follow the signs to the RSPB reserve, we’ll be waiting by the noticeboards in the car park. If using Google Maps use ‘RSPB Cliffe Pools Parking’ to get you to the right place.
Time – Starting the walk at 10.30am for approximately 2 hours
Parking – Free parking on site
Facilities – There are no toilet facilities at this location – the nearest ones are in Cliffe village next to the church.
Type of walk – A circular walk around the reserve with plenty of stops along the way to identify the birds seen and heard. Paths are fairly flat but can be muddy if it has been raining so suitable footwear is recommended
