Guided Walk Along the Canal Path Gravesend – half term event
We are happy to collaborate with Gravesham Borough Council to honour the selection of greenspaces in North Kent being selected for the King’s Series National Nature Reserve (NNR) status. To celebrate this we will be bringing various events in country parks and green spaces within the NNR area during the half term.
Join us for a serene and informative guided walk along the picturesque canal path, leading out onto the expansive marshlands. This delightful journey, led by knowledgeable guides, offers a unique opportunity to explore the natural beauty and biodiversity of the area. As you stroll along the path, you’ll learn about the rich history of the canal and the diverse ecosystems supported by the marsh. Keep an eye out for a variety of bird species and other wildlife that call this environment home. Whether you’re a seasoned nature enthusiast or a curious beginner, this walk promises to be both relaxing and educational. Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring along a pair of binoculars for a closer look at the local wildlife.
We look forward to sharing this wonderful experience with you.
