Our Great Coastal Birdwatch is taking place from 17 October to 1 November 2026 to celebrate the return of our autumn migratory birds. Join us to for a gentle walk around Leysdown with plenty of time to stop and observe the birds we spot and hear along the way. These walks are suitable for beginners and experienced birders alike. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbance.
Meeting place – The Coastal Park Garden Cafe, Shellness Road, Leysdown-On-Sea, ME12 4RH
Time – 1.30pm to approx 3pm
Parking – There is free parking on site
Facilities – There are public toilets at the cafe (if open) and also in Leysdown.
Type of walk – Out and back on the pathway along the waters edge. Paths are fairly flat but can be muddy if it has been raining so suitable footwear is recommended
