The Great Coastal Birdwatch is back for 2024 from 19 October to 3 November as we celebrate the return of our winter migratory birds to our coastline.  We will have a series of walks and birdwatching sessions across North Kent to help everyone get involved and discover more about these amazing birds and the habitats they depend on.

For this session we will be at The Strand in Gillingham.  Meeting at 11.30am we will spend time identifying the birds we spot on the incoming tide with our Rangers on hand to help with identification and explain all about the different species.

This session is particularly suited to beginners and is suitable for people with limited mobility as the surface is hard and flat with plenty of benches to sit on.  Well behaved dogs are welcome on our walks but they must be kept on a lead.

There are toilets on site and plenty of parking which is payable through machines or the RingGo app.
