Winter Walks – Cliffe Pools
This winter our Rangers will be leading guided walks across our North Kent coastline and we’d love you to join us and learn all about our amazing coastal wildlife.
Walks are suitable for all the family and are particularly suited to birdwatching beginners. Well behaved dogs are also welcome to come along but they must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbance. If you have binoculars please bring them along but don’t worry if not as we’ll have our scope for you to look through.
For this walk, our final one for 2023, we will be meeting in the main car park at RSPB Cliffe Pools reserve to start the walk at 10.30am. We will walk around the reserve checking out the birds and other wildlife using the coastline and surrounding marshes. The duration of the walk is approximately 2 hours with plenty of time to stop and observe any wildlife we spot. The walk is flat but the ground is uneven so it may not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility, the paths will be muddy if it has been raining.
It is free to attend our walks but places are limited so please use the registration button to book your place. We ask for your contact details when you book so we can let you know if anything changes on the day. Walks will go ahead if it is raining but may be cancelled if amber weather warnings are issued.
