SUMMARY:Guided walk at Cliffe Pools
DESCRIPTION:Join our Rangers for a gentle guided walk around Cliffe Pools and discover more about the birds and wildlife that depend on this part of our coastline next to the Thames Estuary.\nStarting at the main car park at 10.30am, we will head out to one of the viewpoints and around the pools, stopping to look at birds that we spot along the way.  The circular walk will take a couple of hours and is on flat ground.\nAs the weather has been warm and dry this week the paths should not be muddy but do wear suitable footwear and remember sunscreen, plenty of water and a hat as there is little shade on the route.  There are no toilets at Cliffe Pools, but the closest ones are in Cliffe village next to the Six Bells pub or alternatively the Pure Planet Cafe at the Eternal Lakes reserve (which you will drive past on your way to Cliffe Pools) has food, drinks, and toilet facilities for you to enjoy before or after the walk.\nWe will have our scopes with us to help with identification but do bring your binoculars if you have them.  Whilst well behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join our walks, we don’t recommend bringing them out for a long walk in the hot weather with temperatures forecast to be 27 degrees on Friday.\nNo need to book for this walk, just be sure to meet us by the noticeboard in the main car park at 10,30am.  Our contact on the day is Eddie Lovell on 07740 519711\n \n \n
